Merck - Regulatory Webinar Series, March 29
Products containing animal-derived materials are frequently the subject of concerns regarding the protection of humans and animals from pathogenic diseases such as bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE). These products are regulated based on either the intended use (e.g. in pharmaceutical manufacturing) or the geographical market into which the product is imported. In both cases, it is the responsibility of the producer to comply with the relevant requirements. During the webinar you will among other things learn more about, the complexity of defining animal origin, use of animal-derived materials, traceability in the supply chain and regulations set by authorities. If you do not have the possibility to attend you can still register and recive recording from the webinar afterwards. Read more and register here.
